Designed by Fred Lowen and produced by Fler from 1955 – 59, this award wining and iconic Australian Mid Century design has featured in many a Museum collection, proving its great impact on popular furniture design.

Boasting a maple frame, paddle shaped arms, timber legs and a welded steel frame, these beautiful armchairs feature brand new high density foam and Warwick Fabrics ‘Akito Natural’ upholstery.

Maker	Design by Fred Lowen in 1955 and released by Fler from 1955-59. Fler is responsible for some of the most stunning Australasian furniture design of the mid century period. In 1948 with the help of Fred Ward (Myer Furniture Designer) Fler started producing dining chairs. From then on they released a heap of popular pieces including the SC55 and SC58 armchairs.
